Bakery Waste
The king of all food waste! Not only does bakery waste deliver good yields as feedstock for anaerobic digestion, but it can also be used for animal feed, which often commands greater value.
When used for anaerobic digestion, it will usually need blending with other produce to help stabilise the digestion process or have water added to aid the flow. When used for animal feed, this isn’t necessary but the process does rely on gentler processing which is achievable with the Dominator Depackaging machine.
In both cases, the packaging is separated and ready for onward recycling.
